Under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh region, Dr Ibrahim al-Ghaith, the General President of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, inaugurated here last night the second annual forum, organized by the branch of the commission in Riyadh region under the title of 'unified nation'. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Al-Ghaith highlighted the great support extended to the Commission by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz as well as all officials. He noted that the Muslim nation has been honored by undertaking the responsibility of promotion of virtue and prevention of vice. On comments about the Commission which appear from time to time in the information media organs, Dr Al-Ghaith said the hearts of the officials of the Commission are open to all media men and that they do welcome the constructive criticism which is far away from exaggeration. He noted that the Commission had earlier organized an open meeting with a number of prominent pressmen and the meeting yielded positive results. Dr Al-Ghaith said there are 13 spokesmen at the commission's branches as well as an official spokesman at the Commission's General Presidency in addition to departments of public relations at the branches.
