Four people have been killed and eight others are missing in a pre-dawn landslide Saturday that buried 14 bungalows in a Malaysian residential area, dpa quoted police sources as saying. Rescue and search operations involving 160 people have been on- going since the landslide occurred at the up-market residential area in the central Selangor state, said state police chief Khalid Abu Bakar. A total of 93 people escaped unscathed in the incident, while 15 others suffered injuries, Khalid was quoted as saying by the Star online news portal. Officials at the scene said movement could still be detected in the earth around the area, adding that electricity supply to several neighbouring residential areas have been cut off.
