Kuwaiti Emir leaves for New York

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah departed to New York on Saturday to attend a high-level UN meeting on Culture of Peace and Dialogue between Religions and Cultures, KUNA reported.
He was seen off at the airport by the Deputy Emir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi, members of the ruling family, Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Emiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior officials.
The Kuwaiti Emir's accompanying delegation included Deputy Chief of National Guard Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah; President of the National Security Bureau Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Hussein Nasser Al-Huraiti, and a number of senior officials.
