Madinah, Saudi Arabia, September 18, SPA -- A number of officials and scholars have emphasized the importance of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Award for Prophet's Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies, stressing that it is one of the major specialized awards in the scientific area aiming to develop the Islamic scientific researches and having enjoyed wide Islamic repercussions in the Arab and Islamic world. In statements on the occasion of the conclusion of the Award in its 3rd session, they prayed to Almighty Allah to reward Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior, for his blessed efforts in this distinguished scientific award. They pointed out that the award is considered as one of the most important world scientific awards in the areas, topics, branches, place, patronization and awards as it is linked to the Holy Prophet's Sunnah. The officials and scholars included the Chairman of Shoura Council Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid; Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh; General Chairman of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Commission Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Gaith; Advisor to the Minister of Interior and Award's Secretary General Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi and Award's Executive Director Dr. Misfer bin Abdullah Al-Bishr.
