The United Arab Emirates cabinet approved, in its ordinary meeting on Monday, joining to the International Road Transport Agreement (IRTA) for transporting passengers and goods between Yemen and UAE which was signed on May 28, 2008, Saba reported. The Yemeni cabinet approved in its previous meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar, the draft agreement that does not contradict with articles of Arab Agreement to Organize Passengers Transportation Via Roads among Arab which was approved by law No. 8 for the year 2008. The cabinet also ordered ministers of legal affairs and transport to take necessary procedures to complete legal procedures to ratify the agreement which aims to boost Yemeni-UAE brotherly relations and mutual cooperation in land transport and goods carrying.
