Liheidan said 'my speech was not carried in letter' "Moreover, I started my speech with advice to the owners of the space channels to fear Almighty Allah and to refrain from telecasting materials that spoil the creed of the people like magic and the plays which include forms of polytheism, buffoonery, impudence and dissoluteness which don't suit the blessed month of Ramadan. I advised the owners of space channels to become God-fearing people and to refrain from spoiling the people. Those who are responsible of these channels if they don't refrain from telecasting programs which pave the way for immorality and affect the creed of the people and lead to bad matters like magic and jugglery, then they should be punished. If they are not deterred by the punishment and continued to spoil the people, then it will be possible for the concerned authorities to kill them after trials, he said, adding that the judge don't kill by his hand the culprit, but he issues his rule and submit it to the concerned authorities for approval. It will be possible for the defendant to appeal to higher authorities if he is not convinced with the verdict, he said. Sheikh Al-Liheidan pointed out that the fatwa was about magic, jugglery and the creed affairs as well as morals."
