Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Madani patronized here last night a party organized by Riyadh Literary Club to mark awarding the prize of this year's book to Dr Abdul-Wahab Abu Suleiman, a member of the Commission of the Senior Ulema. The book is on Al-Salam Gate at the Holy Mosque of Makkah and the role of its libraries in modern scientific and literary development. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Saad Al-Bazi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Literary Club, said the annual prize of the club comes within the framework of the club's responsibility towards the national cultural activities. On his part, Dr Ahmad Al-Dubeib highlighted the significance of the book, and said it deserves the prize. On his part, Dr Abdul-Wahab Abu Suleiman underscored the significance of Al-Salam Gate's cultural role. --MORE
