General Salih Mohayya, the Chief of the Joint Staff, opened here today the First annual conference on Military Councils and Trials Court. Speaking on the occasion, Major General Abdul-Rahman Al-Bilawi, the head of department of the administration of the armed forces, said enhancing value of justice at any governmental organ constitutes a real indicator of progress and punctuality made by that organ. He noted that Saudi officials have been underlining the importance of the justice system at the Ministry of Defense And Aviation. On his part, Head of the Court of Military Trials Brigadier Shaban Ahmad said the conference aims at revising activities of the Military Councils so as to get acquainted with the suitable means of promoting judicial works and management. He noted that the conference will include workshops, lectures which are of judicial nature with the participation of the Grievances Court and Investigation and Prosecution Commission as well as the higher judiciary institute. --MORE
