Under the patronage of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, Naif Arab University for Security and Science (NAUSS) will host here on Sunday the 41st regular session of the Federation of the Arab Universities. The King's patronage of this important session, to be attended by the heads of more than 160 Arab Universities, is the embodiment of the attention and care given by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and the re-affirmation of the Kingdom's leading role in supporting joint Arab action on all its aspects and levels, said Dr. Abdulaziz Saqr Al-Ghamdi, President of NAUSS. The conference aims at achieving a number of important goals highlighting closer cooperation between Arab universities and coordination of efforts among these bodies and with the regional and international universities, institutions and organizations; encouraging the establishment of research centres; supporting scientific research, quality control of university education; supporting and stimulating creativity and student activities in Inter - Arab universities. --MORE
