Presided over by its Chairman Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held its 3rd ordinary session here today. During the session, the Council discussed a draft national plan for responding to radiological and nuclear emergency submitted by Medical and Environment Affairs Committee. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Assistant Secretary General Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya said that the Council decided to postpone voting on the draft national plan for responding to radiological and nuclear emergency. The Council approved the accession of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the membership of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law. The Council voted not to approve adding the state official logo to the logo of Saudi Red Crescent Society in the Kingdom. The Council discussed a draft cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France. The Council decided to postpone voting on the draft.
