The Shoura Council held here today a regular session presided over by the council's chairman Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid. During the session, the council approved a number of recommendations concerning the performance the Foreign Ministry including speeding up the issuance of the diplomatic corps regulation and increasing the number of Saudis working at Saudi missions abroad. Assistant Secretary General of the council Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Alyahya told Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the council also discussed a report on the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments call and Guidance and decided to continue its discussion in a future session. The council also was briefed on the council's participation in a meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Federation and a visit by members of the council to Russia.
