The Muslim World League (MWL) called on the international community to work to stop the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Palestine. MWL condemned the incursion by the Israeli occupation forces last Tuesday into a number of Gaza districts as well as the new bloody massacre that resulted in the killing of 18 Palestinians and causing injuries to 5 others. In a statement issued here today, MWL Secretary General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki said that the horrific massacres committed by the Israeli forces against the innocent people of Palestine are violating the international resolutions issued by the United Nations and the Security Council and are against the wishes of the international community and the endeavors to achieve security and peace for the humanity. Dr. Al-Turki expressed the regret of the Muslims over the inability of international institutions to prevent Israel from committing such bloody massacres. Dr. Al-Turki urged governments and Islamic organizations to provide aid to the Palestinian people and follow-up their issues so that they establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
