Russian Air Force chief Alexander Zelin discussed at a meeting with his Indonesian colleague on Friday issues of the development of the Air Force of the two countries, Zelin's aide Alexander Drobyshevsky told Itar-Tass. The parties considered conditions and prospects for the development of the Air Force of Russia and Indonesia," Drobyshevsky said. The Russian military official visited the Indonesian Air Force base Ngurah Rai and Halim. In August, the Rosoboronexport weapons trading company signed contracts at the international MAKS-2007 air show to supply to Indonesia six multi-purpose aircraft : three Su-27SKM and three Su-30MK-2 planes. Three years ago, Russia's Sukhoi concern supplied to Indonesia four multi-purpose planes: two Su-27SK and two Su-30MK. Earlier, Indonesia announced plans to purchase 18 to 24 Su planes from Russia.
