The 18th Conference of the Arab Federation of Libraries and Information continued here today. Director of Egypt's Alexandria Library Dr. Sohair Wastawi commended the support by Saudi Arabia led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for Arab gatherings and conferences. Director of Information Center of the College of Commerce and Economy of Sultan Qaboos University Dr. Saif Aljabri presented a working paper focusing on the role of library and information specialists in the era of the internet.
