Prince Khalid Al-faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region will grace on Saturday the 18th Conference of the Information Federation of Arab Libraries, which is being organized by the Federation in cooperation with The Ministry of Culture and Information at Hilton Hotel in Jeddah City. More than 400 experts from 22 Countries as well as Europe and America will participate in the conference which will be held under theme of "Libraries -- the profession, the present and the future Challenges." Chairman of the Federation Saad Al-zhri expressed his thanks and appreciation to The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-aziz for his patronage and approval by the Kingdom to host the Conference. He also expressed his appreciation to Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Ameen Madani for his attention and support to the Conference. The conference will avail opportunity for the participants from various parts of the World to be acquainted with the great progress witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Library and Information Technology, Alzhri elaborated.
