Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud opened at the Headquarters of Muslim World League (MWL) here today the 19th session of the Islamic Fiqh (Jurisprudence) Academy (IFA). At the avenue, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal was received by MWL Secretary General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki , IFA Secretary at MWL Dr. Saleh bin Zabn Al-Marzoqi Al-Buqomi and a number of senior officials. The opening session began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Then, IFA Secretary at MWL Dr. Al-Buqomi thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his patronage of the 19th session of IFA. He also thanked Vice-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his support to IFA. Also, He thanked Prince Khalid Al-Faisal for attending and opening this session on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Dr. Al-Buqomi said that among the activities made by IFA Secretariat are the preparations for convening Fatwa Conference to be held at the beginning of next Hijra year in addition to the agreement with a specialized national company to design and develop all IFA publications as well as the completion of translating IFA decisions into English, French and Urdu. --More
