Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmuhsin Al-Turki, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League received here today Dr. Esam bin Ahmed Al-Basheer, the Secretary General of the International Center for Islamic Moderation. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues including the agreement in convening joint conferences and Islamic cultural forums in addition to the dissemination of books pertaining to explanation of the concept of moderation in Islam. Al-Basheer pointed out that the International Center accomplished a number of achievements in the areas of publication of books in addition to Islamic conferences and seminars which had been organized and centered around the themes of moderation , advocacy and Islamic culture and Ifta. He also expressed his desire to continue cooperation with the MWL in spreading the concept of moderation in Islam and in establishing common cultural activities. For his part, Dr. Al-turki said that the MWL is ready to cooperate with the World Center for Islamic Moderation in disseminating the principles and values of Islam around the world and introducing justice, peace and cooperation as stated in Islam.
