The Third Makkah International Orthopedic and Trauma Conference will be held tomorrow at the Grand Coral Hotel, here. The Conference is organized by An-nour Hospital in cooperation with the Saudi orthopedic Association. The 3-day conference will be patronized by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region. Dr. Hatim Alamri, a director at the hospital pointed out to moral and financial support extended by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz in ensuring success for such conferences and scientific forums. "These scientific gatherings aim to explore the latest advances and modern scientific approaches in the treatment of diseases and injuries of bones and joints and update on researches and studies. Pointing out that the idea of this conference stemmed from the urgent need to cope with reality and new advances in the orthopedic field and benefit from its global experiences. For his part, Dr. Salim Ba-Juaifer, the Chairman of the Conference, Consultant and the Chief of Orthopedics at Annour Hospital explained that the conference which is held in cooperation with the Saudi Orthopedics Association is expected to attract research works and papers by nearly sixty four experts and lecturers from the Kingdom and abroad. The conference will be attended by 250 physicians specializing in Orthopedics and joints surgery.
