Astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour spent their first full day in space on Thursday inspecting the craft for any damage sustained during take-off, according to dpa. They used a robotic arm to examine the outside of the shuttle. The spacecraft with seven astronauts on board is on an 11-day mission to install a 2.5-ton solar panel on the International Space Station, conduct repairs on the orbiting station and deliver of supplies. Endeavour is set to dock with the ISS on Friday at 1753 GMT.
