Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdul-Aziz, The General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection, The President of the Executive Bureau of The Arab Ministerial Council in Charge of Environmental Affairs reiterated here today the importance of the next phase for the joint Arab work to achieve sustainable development in the Arab world. In a speech at the opening of 18th session of the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Bureau, Prince Turki said we live in a globalization world which produces a number of challenges. The comprehensive development strategy which had been approved by the Arab Summit in Riyadh is the best method to encounter these challenges. Today's session was set for the issues to be presented to the Arab summit for economic and social Development which may include launching Arab satellite to monitor the earth and the mechanism to coordinate among Arab bodies responsible for Natural disasters and emergencies. He added that such issues are important to activate the joint Arab environment work.
