On the other hand, the Makkah-based Al-Nadwa Newspaper spoke about the already announced official Arab stance which will be endorsed at the forthcoming Arab summit reaffirming that there would be no amendment for items of the Arab peace initiatives. The newspaper said this stance had been re-asserted in official statements issued by Arab states and the Arab League's Secretary General. "This firm stand is a response to current attempts to amend the peace initiatives."
