Several delegates from Muslim countries will attend the 3rd Technical Conference of the Association of Tax Authorities (ATAIC) in Islamabad on November 22-25 under the auspices of Pakistan s chief tax agency, Central Board of Revenue (CBR), says an official statement. More than 60 foreign delegates have confirmed their participation. About 100 foreign delegates from different Islamic countries will attend this mega event. ATAIC was established in the year 2003 at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to conduct activities relating to taxation and has emerged as an important forum for the tax administrators to share their experiences and knowledge on burning tax issues. Presently 20 Islamic countries are the members of ATAIC.
