More than 30 delegates from Saudi Aramco attended this year's SPE conference, which was themed "Focus on the Future." Many participated in or contributed to technical and poster sessions, or served as panelists in special-interest forums. SPE runs 70 conferences a year, including the Offshore Technology Conference, which draws 54,000 members; Offshore Europe, with 24,000 in attendance; and the Annual Technical Conference, with 10,000 participants. SPE hosts an e-library of 42,000 technical papers presenting the latest technology in exploration and producing. SPE has offices in Dallas, London, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. Another office is planned for Russia. Next year's SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition will be held in Anaheim, Calif., on Nov. 11-14, 2007. -SPA
