CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ RECEIVED HERE TODAY MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION DR. KHALID ALA'ANQARI, DIRECTOR OF KING SAUD UNIVERSITY DR. ABDULLAH BIN MOHAMMAD ALFAISAL, DIRECTOR OF KING FAHD UNIVERSITY FOR PETROLEUM AND MINERALS DR. KHALID ALSULTAN AND A NUMBER OF STAFF MEMBERS OF THE TWO UNIVERSITIES WHO WON INVENTION PATENTS.
KING ABDULLAH HANDED MEDALS TO THOSE WHO WON THE INVENTION PATENTS AND COMMENDED THEM FOR THEIR EFFORTS.
HE WISHED THEM WELL SAYING THE STATE WILL PROVIDE THEM WITH ALL THEIR NEEDS.
KING ABDULLAH MENTIONED KING ABDULLAH UNIVERSITY FOR SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY WHILE ADDRESSING THE SAUDI SCIENTISTS AND SAID, "I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS UNIVERSITY FOR 25 YEARS AND I THANK ALLAH FOR HELPING US TO ESTABLISH IT. I HOPE YOU WILL BE A GOOD SEED IN IT. IT WILL ALSO BE OPEN FOR YOUR BROTHER INVENTORS FROM THE ARAB AND ISLAMIC WORLD."
KING ABDULLAH URGED THE SCIENTISTS TO CONTINUE THEIR EFFORTS AND ACHIEVE MORE INVENTIONS.
