The Joint Saudi-Jordanian Business Council held here today a meeting under the co-chairmanship of Abdullah Al-Baze'e and Haidar Murad, the respective heads of the two countries business delegations. At the outset of the meeting, Murad welcomed the Saudi delegation, pointing out that the constant growth in commercial and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Jordan embodies the depth of the relations between the two countries. Al-Baze'e said that the meeting is crucial to the two countries because it draws the future of the commercial and economic relations between the two countries in addition to prompting the private sector to increase the volume of trade exchange. Also, he expressed admiration of the council's decision to establish a Saudi Investment Company with a capital of $500 million to invest in tourism and industry in Jordan, stressing that the Saudi-Jordanian Joint Business Council is contributing to the economies of the two countries. The meeting was attended by Saudi Charge D' Affairs in Amman Hamed Al-Fadi.
