Italian Foreign Minister warns against provocation of Muslims

Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gianfranco Fini has warned against provocation and irritation of the Muslims.
The Italian minister made his remarks yesterday after the announcement of another Italian minister of his plans to wear a shirt carrying blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him.
'At this hard and sensitive time in the relations of the Muslim world with the European Union, it would be better for all persons, notably the ministers to behave in a serious and responsible manner', he said in a statement to the pressmen.
It was reported that Italian Minister of Reform & Devolution Roberto Calderoli said Tuesday that he would wear a shirt carrying blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him.
Calderoli is a leader of a regional party called: 'The Northern League'.
It was also reported that Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi had summoned Calderoli to inform him with his disapproval to what he was planning to do in this respect .
