At his office in Riyadh, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Alturki, the Secretary General of the Makkah-based Muslim World League, received today France's Ambassador to the Kingdom Charles Henri d'Aragon. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual concern. On his part, the ambassador explained his country's position denouncing the cartoon drawings which appeared in some western newspapers and magazines blasphemous to Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Later, Alturki met with the outgoing ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom Dr. Alman Arasli who bade him farewell on the end of his assignment in the Kingdom as ambassador of his country to Saudi Arabia. Then Alturki received a delegation of the Islamic Mashikha of the Republic of Albania, led by Dr. Saymeer Roshiko. On his part, the leader of the delegation expressed appreciation of Muslims in Albania for the efforts exerted by the Saudi government and MWL in the service of Islam and Muslims.
