King Abdullah receives British Defense Secretary

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace here today British Defense Secretary Dr. John Reid and his accompanying delegation.
The Secretary conveyed to the Monarch the greetings of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, Crown Prince Charles and Premier Tony Blair. In turn the King sent his greetings to the British leadership.
They also reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The audience was attended by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs; Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Secretary General of National Security Council; Prince General Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Military Affairs; Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Britain; Adel Al -Jubeir, Advisor at the Royal Court; and British Ambassador to the Kingdom Sherard Cowper Coles.
