ZURICH - The Swiss market index closed at 6,761.02 points, down 74.66 or 1.09 percent. MILAN - The All Share Mibtel index closed at 26,522 points, down 82 or 0.31 percent. TOKYO - The Nikkei share average rose 0.37 percent to a fresh four-year closing high as investors, bullish about Japan's recovery after land price data the day before, bought shares in property developers and banks. The Nikkei ended up 48 points at 13,196.57. HONG KONG - Stocks edged lower with the market pausing after a recent rally and as a fresh U.S. rate rise was digested, although investors expect more upside in the short to medium term given fresh catalysts.
