The Board of Executive Directors of Islamic Development Bank concluded here today its session 232 under the chairmanship of the Bank's President Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali. Dr. Ali pointed out that the Bank approved urgent assistance to Mali with a sum of $ 376,000 dollars and Niger with a sum of $ 568,000 dollars to alleviate the effects of severe drought, noting that the Bank also approved financing foreign trade for Mali to import rice worth $ 13 million . He indicated that the approved finances during the session totaled $ 455.6 million.
