Statute, including nine Security Council members:

Benin

Brazil

Romania

Argentina

Denmark

Greece
and Tanzania.

United States

and
Japan
have not signed the statute while
Russia
,
Algeria
and the
Philippines
signed the document but their legislatures have not yet ratified it.
The
United States
has called for an African court to prosecute the crimes. That position is supported by
Sudan
and
Nigeria
.
