Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Sunday a phone call from the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Ibrahim Taha. The telephone conversation focused on the situation in Sudan. The two sides also reviewed joint cooperation between them and ways of strengthening it and discussed the efforts exerted to achieve a cease-fire in Sudan. They called on the conflicting parties to respond to peace efforts to stop the bloodshed of the Sudanese people.
