King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, known as "Darah" today launched the Saudi Flag Application, an electronic product aimed to serve the history, geography, literature, and intellectual of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and was launched to coincide with the Flag Day, which is observed every year on March 11. Highlighting the event, Executive President of King Abdulaziz Foundation Turki bin Mohammed Al-Shuwaer said that the bilingual (Arabic and English) application is a product of the Antami (I belong) electronic project; it sends an enlightening introductory message and contains a number of windows, including the national anthem, and the flag's regulations, history and historic achievements aiming at enlightening children and youths, the illiterate, and all those interested in the meaning and values of the flag to Saudi Arabia's history, culture and heritage. He added that the application is a digital platform that contains a comprehensive reference to the history, symbolism and significance of the Saudi flag and will contribute to people's understanding of the value of the flag throughout the country's history.
