HRH Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet's Session

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet's session held Tuesday at Irqah Palace in Riyadh.
HRH the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the content of the two meetings that he held with the president of Eritrea and the president of Mozambique, and the outcomes of these meetings that reviewed relations and cooperation between the Kingdom and the two countries.
The Cabinet also reviewed several regional and international issues, reiterating the commitment made by the Kingdom during the 40th meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers to strengthen security cooperation, step up efforts to combat drug use, and address any issues that pose a threat to pan-Arab security.
The Cabinet also touched on the Kingdom's participation at the G20 Foreign Ministers' meeting, which took place in New Delhi, emphasizing the importance of taking collective action to address global challenges and foster dialogue and peace, to make the world a safer and more prosperous place for all peoples.
The Cabinet emphasized that the inauguration of the Regional Centre for Climate Change's headquarters in the Kingdom is a part of national and international initiatives to protect the environment and address with climate issues in a way that builds the knowledge base required to encourage adaptation to climate change, reduce its effects, and achieve sustainability, in line with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
The Cabinet also applauded the first wave of projects supported by the Private Sector Partnership Reinforcement Program "Shareek," totaling more than SAR192 billion, affirming that this development represents a significant step toward the program's goals of fostering private sector investment, boosting domestic content, and raising the GDP of the Kingdom.
The Cabinet viewed the Flag Day, which falls on March 11 this year, as an opportunity to emphasize the significance of the national flag throughout the history of the Saudi state, beginning with its founding in 1139 AH (1727 AD), as well as its importance as a symbol of cohesion, harmony, and national unity.
The Cabinet members were briefed on several other issues on its agenda and issued the following decisions:
First:
Approving an agreement to establish the Saudi-Algerian Supreme Coordination Council.
second:
Approving a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Attorney General's Office and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of The Gambia.
Third:
Approving a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Ministry of Tourism) and the Government of the State of Kuwait (Ministry of Information and Culture).
Fourth:
Approving a memorandum of cooperation to teach the Chinese language between the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
Fifth:
Approving the Kingdom's accession to the Convention for the Protection of Producers of Phonograms Against Unauthorized Duplication of Their Phonograms.
Sixth:
Approving a memorandum of understanding between the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Anti-Corruption Commission of the Kingdom of Thailand in the field of preventing and combating corruption.
Seventh:
Approving an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of Republic of Yemen in the field of the works of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen inside the Republic of Yemen.
Eighth:
Approving extending the correction grace offered to the neglected or damaged vehicles' owners who would like to drop their vehicles from their official records, according to Article (third) of the Cabinet's resolution No.99 dated 07/02/1443 H. for one more year, starting 01/03/2023.
Ninth:
Approving the controls of service suspension.
Tenth:
Establishing a program named, "the Saudi Program for Attracting International Companies Headquarters", under the supervision of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
Eleventh:
Renewing the membership of Dr. Walid bin Mohammad Zahed, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammad Al-Suailem, Eng. Ali bin Ayedh Al-Qarni at the Board of Directors of the National Center for Environmental Compliance.
Twelfth:
Accrediting the two final accounts of the Madinah Region Development Authority for two previous fiscal years.
Thirteenth:
Approving an appointment and promotions to the 15th and 14th ranks.
The Cabinet also reviewed several issues on its agenda and took necessary procedures regarding them.
