The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, has met with several ambassadors to discuss the progress and challenges of SFD-funded development projects and programs across the world. The Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Guillermo Nielsen, was briefed on the SFD's development projects and programs in Latin America and other parts of the world. The two sides also discussed topics of mutual concern and the potential for cooperation on joint development ventures. In another meeting, Al-Marshad discussed SFD-funded development projects and programs in Kyrgyzstan with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ulukbek Maripov, and his delegation. They also reviewed jointly inaugurated projects in September 2022 with Kyrgyzstan's President. The CEO also met with the Tunisian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Hisham Al-Forati, to discuss the challenges facing the implementation of SFD-funded projects in Tunisia, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation. Lastly, Al-Marshad received the Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius to the Kingdom, Shaukat Ali Soudhan, to discuss the developments in SFD-funded projects in the republic and the challenges they face.
