Within the Saudi-Chinese Friendship Exhibition being held by the Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, King Abdulaziz Public Library (KAPL) has showcased a collection of paintings on Arabic and Chinese calligraphy through the mixing of authentic Arabic calligraphy with distinguished Chinese fonts, which had previously been launched at the King Abdulaziz Library branch in Beijing University, People's Republic of China. It also displayed a collection of coins and numismatics that it owns, dating back to the year 72 AH, more than 50 rare coins, 20 rare manuscripts within its private collections, which highlight the antiquity of Islamic art and Arab history, in addition to displaying the Silk Road manuscript with 13 meters length, which tells in detail the history and reality of this road.
