Saudi Post (SPL) has announced it fully acquired NAQEL Express through the Saudi Post and Logistic Services Company. SPL, which is the arm of modern logistic services for commerce and digital governance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said that it aims to be the national operator for post and logistic services as part of its strategy to transform into leading the market via forming a comprehensive work system that offers a global competitive value. SPL President Anef Abanomi said that the step is part of SPL ambitious strategy that accords with the national transformation and the development of the work model that it will change into opportunities, strengths and advantages to enhance SPL's status as a national operator in the market, according to programs of the Saudi Vision 2030, adding that SPL will contribute to providing an excellent service or clients that will reflect on their experiences and enhance investment opportunities in the logistical sector. He added that "our efforts unite to realize our message of being the modern logistic arm for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and digitalizing governance through offering high quality services to clients supported by a system with a high level of interaction and advanced trends to contribute to increasing the ranking of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on indicators of e-commerce and digital government services.
