The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Marshad met here today with the CEO of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Dr. TANAKA Akihiko, to discuss the latest developments in cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting, the officials' discussions touched on the "Cooperation for Prosperity" initiative, which aims to enhance cooperation in the development field through exchanging experiences and knowledge and developing the latest tools and means to contribute to achieving sustainable development in countries benefiting from development support. The meeting included an introductory tour for the JICA delegation at the JICA headquarters and training center, during which the delegation members met with the Agency's officials, got acquainted with the work mechanism, and listened to a brief presentation of the most important work of JICA. During the visit, Al-Marshad said that the "Cooperation for Prosperity" initiative with JICA will start next month through the employee exchange program, which represents an opportunity for the two sides to exchange knowledge and best practices in the development field.
