US Defense Secretary Makes Phone Call to His Russian Counterpart

The US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made a telephone call to the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
During the call, the two sides tackled a number of issues of common interest between the two countries, as well as the importance of maintaining lines of communication amid the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
