King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan met in New York with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, it was reported today. During the meeting, which took place on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 77th session of the general assembly of the United Nations, the two sides discussed a host of issues of mutual concern, including the Palestinian cause, the repercussions of the crisis in Ukraine on the region and the world at large, ways to deal with climate change, challenges facing food security as well as latest developments in Iraq and Syria.
