U.S. stocks rose on Monday.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 197.26, or 0.6 percent, to 31,019.68.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 26.56, or 0.7 percent, to 3,899.89.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 86.62, or 0.8 percent, to 11,535.02.
Oil rose and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 62 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $85.73 a barrel.
