The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied active winds are forecasted to fall on Jazan, Asir and Baha Regions, while thunderstorms, accompanied active winds will continue to occur on some parts of Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk Regions, extending to the coastal parts of the said regions, as well as some parts of Najran Region, along with the southern parts of the Eastern Region (Empty Quarter) and Riyadh Region (Wadi Al Dawasir). The report added that the surface dusty winds will be active on some parts of the eastern and central and Regions, reducing the horizontal sight. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northwesterly at speed of 25-40 km/h, on northern and central parts, and southwesterly to northwesterly at speed of 15-35 km/h, on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northeasterly to northwesterly on northern part at speed of 10-25km/h and easterly to southeasterly on southern part at speed of 10-25km/h.
