Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arena. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that Jeddah Security and Development Summit was held in light of regional and international challenges that need great efforts to confront threats to food and health security, peace and stability in the world. The summit reflects the pivotal role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the security and stability of the region, in addition to its great efforts it exerts at the international level to achieve security, development and prosperity for all peoples of the world, the paper said. In this context, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister confirmed that the summit will lead to laying out a comprehensive framework for a new phase that gives hope to the young men and women of the region for a bright future in which they will be able to realize their hopes and deliver to the world noble message and values that should be respected, in addition to the importance of adopting a balanced approach of sustainable development to achieve the priorities of each country and preserve the stability of the global economy, the paper added.
