U.S. stocks were mostly lower Thursday. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 148.88, or 0.5 percent, to 30,623.91. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 1.90, or 0.3 percent, to 3,789.88. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index was virtually unchanged, rising 1.22 to 11,248.81. As for oil prices, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped $1.28, or 1.3 percent, to $95.02 a barrel, its lowest level since February.
