U.S. stocks fell Wednesday. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 209.79, or 0.7 percent, to 30,771.54. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 17.21, or 0.45 percent, to 3,801.59. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index fell 17.15, or 0.15 percent, to 11,247.58. Oil rose, rebounding from Tuesday's massive sell-off. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures advanced 46 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $96.39 a barrel.
