The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that thunderstorms, accompanied by active dusty winds are forecasted to fall on southern parts of Eastern Region, while the surface winds will continue to be active on Najran and the coastal parts, extending from Makkah region to Jazan region as well as the coastal parts of Madinah region, reducing horizontal sight and the dust winds will continue to be active on Riyadh and Eastern regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be westerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-30 km/h on northern and central parts at speed of 20-40 on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly, gradually turning northeasterly at speed of 20-40 km/h.
