Innovative Digital Solutions to Serve Pilgrims in the Holy Sites, Makkah and Madinah

stc harnessed its innovative digital solutions to serve the pilgrims in the holy sites, Makkah and Madinah by supporting and empowering sectors operating during the Hajj season. stc provides various digital solutions and services including medical, security and innovative communication services, aimed at ensuring the highest quality of services to enable the pilgrims perform Hajj rituals with ease.
During the Hajj season 1443, stc ensures that its digital solutions are extended to pilgrims to support and empower government sectors that serve the Hajj season, including providers of digital medical services such as remote patient monitoring service and hologram doctor service, to provide remote medical consultations by connecting the patient to the doctor directly in the "Seha" virtual Hospital. In addition to providing security and monitoring services such as network monitoring systems and screens, as well as the drones to monitor traffic in the holy sites.
stc also offers a smart Dashboard as an innovative solution to monitor the status of the digital infrastructure at the holy sites, Makkah and Madinah, which make it easy to identify any issues that may occur during operation and ways to solve the upcoming issues.
The Dashboard comes within the services provided by stc during the Hajj season, to provision communication services and ensure extending a distinguished experience to the pilgrims. Furthermore, it complement stc's preparations in serving pilgrims for the Hajj season 1443, which included the development of 1754 communication towers, the establishment of 141 new towers and the expansion of 18 towers that accommodate modern technologies and spread 1942 wifi access points and increase the sites that support the 5G to 863 sites and secure 72 mobile vehicles to support coverage and capacities to equip 284 sites for internal coverage at the two holy mosques and the holy sites and equip 138 stations for the critical communications network to support the vital sectors through Manasik and Miqat services, providing instant and secure communications.
The digital solutions and services provided by stc come as an extension of its efforts every year to ensure an enriching experience for the pilgrims, with the aim of providing the best digital solutions and communication services during the Hajj season.
