Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arena. In their front pages, almost all Saudi press highlighted prominent local news and developments, citing the arrival of the first Yemeni pilgrims contingent through Al-Wadiaa post; King Salman International Complex for Arabic Language casting light on its initiatives on the book of Al-Madinah; FIFA nominates Saudi Football Federation as an expert of VAR technology; and Tawakalna app collects UN prize for public service 2022. Arriyadh newspaper gave an account on the outcomes of the recently-concluded state visit HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has paid to each of Egypt, Jordan and Turkiye. In its editorial today titled "drafting future positions", the paper said that it was not a mere protocol tour to three regional countries, but that the whole package forms a pillar for drafting the positions and future decisions and drawing a road map for the forthcoming alliances amid the challenges facing the region. This will not be achieved without mobilizing strategic, political, economic and military cooperation of the senior players of the region, the paper said. Arriyadh summerized the positive outcomes of the visit in each of the three capitals of Cairo, Amman and Ankara. It said that the understandings reached between the Crown Prince and leaders of the three countries precede a forthcoming visit of the US President to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which he is scheduled to hold talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince in addition to a GCC summit together with Egypt, Jordan and Iraq. The paper added that Saudi Arabia seeks to conclude a unified positon of all parties towards the diverse challenges collectively facing them, particularly the Iranian absurd play and blatant intervention in the Arab affairs as well as the dangers its nuclear program poses on the regional and world peace.
