Saudi press editorially addressed today a number of local, regional and international issues. In their headlines and subtitles, they highlighted Eid Al-Fitr greetings and congratulations exchanged between His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on one hand and a host of Muslim and Arab leaders including King of Bahrain, Prime Minister of Iraq and Prime Minister of Pakistan as well as Eid exchanges among senior officials and their counterparts in other sister countries. Governors and senior officials also received worshippers congratulating them on the blessed event, the papers pointed out. In its editorial under the theme á nation's solidarity', Arriyadh said that the concept of solidarity shared by the Islmaic nation was long raised by the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who believes that Muslims enjoy so many common interests, concepts and values than everybody could imagine. Citing the recent official visits of the President of Turkey and the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the paper said that Islamic solidarity has become more important amid the recent challenges facing the world. The paper said that, no doubt, ways of enhancing Islamic solidarity were discussed during the two visits. The Kingdom's hosting of Makkah-based Muslim World League and Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation is of great significance in terms of its interest in the concept of Islamic solidarity. For its part, Al-Eqtisadiya (the economist) cast light on the repercussions of the increase of economic inflation in the US on the entire world economy.
