Under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, the Acting Director General of the Border Guard, Major General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Shehri, witnessed the opening of the 12th international session to combat emerging threats to maritime security. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of the Guards Borders at the Jeddah Academy for Maritime Sciences and Security Studies in cooperation with the International Maritime Organization (IMO). 15 trainees from (10) of the signatory countries to the Jeddah Amendments to the 2017 Code of Conduct related to combating transnational organized crime participated in the course, which aims to develop knowledge, standardize concepts, enhance skills and capabilities in the field of maritime security.
